Over the past 25 years Joe has trained thousands of students to management systems principles all over the Americas. He has conducted third party audits and provided consulting to dozens of companies to quality, environmental and information security management systems.
He has also worked through multiple transitions to new standards dating back to the ISO 9001: 1987 transition to the 1994 version.
He led multiple strategic transformations ranging from enterprise implementations of Strategy Planning processes, M&A for private equity and strategic buyers, Big Data Analytics for the US Government. He also managed multi-billion dollar data center builds for cloud service providers in Amsterdam, Dublin, Chicago, Miami and Santa Clara - all to aggressive timelines and all on time!
He collaborated with organizations solving a range of challenges from small businesses to global Fortune 100 companies. His industry expertise extends beyond public sector contractors, aerospace & defense, cloud service providers, data centers, IT and advanced technology firms.
He has worked for small non-profit firms (<$10M), private equity owned companies (EdgeConneX), privately owned firms (Avascent, Environmental Science & Engineering), publicly traded firms (ATK & IHS), a state regulator (Department of Environmental Quality) and a unique organizational structure called a Royal Charter (BSI).
In 2017, he served as the NDIA DC Chapter President and has served as the Small Business Committee Chair since 2012. Joe is a graduate of Virginia Tech and earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business.
